LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN SECURITY
WORKSHOP 20TH October 2010, BRUSSELS
LOGSEC is an FP7[1] funded project of European importance dealing with Supply Chain (SC) Security. It is a specific project addressing SC vulnerabilities by exploring new crime threats.
One of the main tasks is to identify major gaps in logistics & SC vulnerabilities and connect them to specific crimes and disruptions with a view to ascertaining how well existing security programmes and measures manage to prevent, mitigate or combat such crimes or disruptions. LOGSEC is a phase one project leading to a second large-scale demonstration phase.
The project team are pleased to invite selected industry participants from the logistics, retail and manufacturing sectors to an important and informal workshop (names of contributors or their companies will be kept confidential if required and will only be used in aggregate form) to be held in Brussels on 20th October 2010.
If you are willing to share your views and experiences among your peers and significantly contribute to the success of this new security-related investigation, please contact project partner, Dr Andrew Traill (Policy Director, European Shippers' Council): Dit e-mailadres wordt beveiligd tegen spambots. JavaScript dient ingeschakeld te zijn om het te bekijken., or the sender, who will be pleased to provide additional information if required, or take note of your application.
We would expect that several of the attendees would be selected to participate as advisors in the potential second phase demonstration project.
